Hotel "Dombai"
Hotel Dombai second size Hotel (after "Gornye Vershiny" ) in Dombai.
It was also built in Soviet period and till the 2001 was one of the center of appress-ski life in Dombai.
Recently it was very popular among a lot tourists and skiers. Even song festivals were held
here every spring up to the year 2000.
The distances to both Wagon and armchair Funikulars are the same - 150 m. Appartments are
ordinar DBL and TRPL with shower and toilets in each room.
Neither TV's nor phone in ordinar rooms.

At the end of the year 2001 most of rooms in the hotel were damaged by Chechen children
spending their holidays there.
That's why the hotel didn't work on the season 2001-2002. It was under
reconstruction. In the spring 2002 some rooms were repaired and available for
stay for very small price, so those skiers who were very short of money decided
to stay there.
In the summer 2002 the next group of Chechen children spent their holidays
in the hotel. Now the hotel is one of the chiepest in Dombai Valley.
Advantages
Source of mineral water "Narzan" is very close to the Hotel.
Very chiep appartments - ex. in march 2002 it costed 120 roubles per day.
Disadvantages
Since the room in appartments is too small, all beds are 2-stored.
The distance to funiculars is longer then one from "Gornye Vershiny"
and "Crocus".
Almost all the rooms are under reconstruction.
