Hotel "Solnechnaya Dolina" (Sunny Valley)
The only wooden hotel in Dombai.
The Hotel "Solnechnaya Dolina" is the oldest hotel in Dombai (made in 1937)
and became the logo of the Dombai itself. The log building is made with Caucasian
larch using the ancient Russian technologies (without any nail) and it looks
like tower in old russian style with carved balconies, columns and odd turret with
a number of domes.
The Hotel is situated between the hotel MMC "Gornye Vershiny"
and the Hotel "Snezhinka" and is not far from
the wagon funikular (100 m).
In 2001 and 2002 it was reconstructed inside. Most of the appartments
were provided with new furniture, another furniture was repaired.
In 2002 they built new annex to the hotel. So the number of appartments
increased.
This is one of the most comfortable hotels in Dombai among the big Hotels - the total
capacity is 70 persons. Now the Hotel has appartments of 12 different types !!!
All of them are decorated with natural wood. Among them are:
5-room, 3-room, 2-room appartments with shower and toilet, telephone
, TV, refrigerator.
2-room TRPL and 4-person appartments, with bathroom, shower and wide balcony.
5-room "family" LUX with 2 bathrooms, wide balcony with nise landscape view,
separate hall, fireplace and separate entrance
door to the restaurant.
Totaly there are 10 LUX appartments each of them doesn't look like another:
LUX "Union"- 1 room DBL, square - 25-30 m, is situated in the round turret,
there are big mat, nice drappery, TV, refrigerator.
2-room 4-person LUX including fireplace hall with big table in the center,
2 bedrooms, TV, refrigerator.
New 2-room 4-person LUX, the same as previous with additional big piano for the
music amateur and nice white furniture.

Disadvantages
It can't be called "the chiep hotel" (see prices).
