Hotel "Taulu"
Taulu in Karachay means "highlander". Three 2-storied cottages of the Hotel
"Taulu" were built at the very end of 20-th century in 1999 for the regional "Mountain club".
They stay in the space between the Hotel "Dombai"
and the Hotel "Crocus" on the left corner of
the river Dombai-Ulgen. You come to
Dombai Valley and pass the bridge on the river Dombai-Ulgen
and then before you come to the hotel "Dombai"
turn to the left. In 20 meters - there will be the Hotel "Aura"
(red bricks), then the Hotel "Sofrudgu" (white bricks) and
then three cottages of "Taulu".
Unlike the big old hotels this cottages are very cosy, clean and comfortable with
modern sanitary engineering. Both in the hall and in LUX appartments there
are TV-sets.
Each cottage can accomodate 20 persons and has the following Appartments:
Ground floor - the hall with fireplace and TV, one TRPL and two DBLs
First floor - Balcony, one 2-Room LUX with TV and refrigerator, one TRPL and one DBL.
Second floor - two TRPLs.
Appartments for 4 persons with 2 bedrooms are situated in the separate
canteen building. They have fireplace hall, modern furniture, bathroom and toilet
with modern sanitary engineering,

New cafe with dancing hall on the river bank looks like grotto,
sauna and open swimming pool,
parking
ski instructors
climbing instructors
Prices in High Season are about 20 $ per person for DBL and TRPL and in
Low Season about 12-15 $. For the price details see the Page "Prices".
Advantages:
If yuo come to Dombai not only for sport skiing, but to spend a nice time
then this hotel is for you and your friends. You can rent the whole cottage
and fire nights by your own. This cottages differ from
"Peak Ine" with possibility to use all apress-ski
infrastructure on the Dombai Valley.
Very nice new cafe on the river bank allows you to spend very nice time with
you company.
Disatvantages:
Sometime in weekend many regional tourists (from MinVody and abroad) come to
this hotel (they like it very much) and make much noice dancing, swimming in the
pool and river and celebrating their vacations or something else.
The hotel is very populsr, but the total number of rooms are quite few,
so in High season it is very difficult to book appartments.
High price for real skiers, although calculating the total cost of living including
FB and the price of lifting to the ski-zone the total cost is about 1-2 $ more
then for "Peak Ine" or
"Tarelka"
